If you have received an offline message, it can be frustrating. But this does not mean your printer is damaged. An offline printer can't communicate with the device sending the print job.

Unfortunately, it can't receive new print jobs, so pause all print jobs until you fix the problem. Don't send print requests to an offline printer until you've read the troubleshooting manual. If you've print jobs in the printer queue, you must cancel them. There could be some reasons:

  • Old printer drivers
  • Connection problems
  • A setting error

Each reason has a different solution process. Let's look at the issue and how to get back online and print again.
